For guests flying in, the nearest airport is Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), about a 30-minute drive from Watersound. The airport is small and easy to navigate, with nonstop flights from several major U.S. cities.

Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)

Another option is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Watersound by car. It’s a great alternative with plenty of direct flights and an easy drive along the coast.

Arrival/Departure Transportation

Uber and Lyft are typically easy to use when arriving at the airports in Panama City (ECP) or Destin (VPS). However, return transportation on Sunday can be unreliable, so we strongly recommend scheduling a private ride in advance for your departure day.
